JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a tourist informant in Mariestad, you will have a fun and varied summer job with the main task of inspiring our visitors to have the best possible experience. You will be part of a small team in the business unit of Mariestad municipality.

You will be our face to the public and will help our visitors experience everything Mariestad has to offer, making them feel welcome and wanting to stay longer. You will meet guests at various locations in the municipality with our mobile service. You will answer questions during physical meetings, by phone, and via email. You will inspire and inform about experiences, accommodation, restaurants, cafés, and events, and assist guests with their inquiries. Your tasks will also include delivering informational materials to InfoPoints.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is a good ambassador for Mariestad. You love meeting people and have a cheerful demeanor. You are good at collaborating, are proactive, and can take initiative. Furthermore, we value:

• Very good knowledge of Mariestad.
• Being oriented about Västsverige and the rest of Sweden.
• Fluent Swedish in speech and writing.
• Very good knowledge of English.
• Experience and interest in service. Education is a merit.
• Good computer skills.
• Driving license B is required.
